Every family has traditions, flavors, music, stories and experiences that make them who they are.
Family Heritage Night is a chance to share them—and to discover a little more about the families who make up our Loma Portal community.
Join us for a free evening celebrating the many cultures and traditions within our school through
food, music, dance, art, clothing, activities and more.
Bring the whole family, wander the world without leaving the Loma Portal blacktop, try something new, learn from one another and celebrate the stories that make our community uniquely ours.

No RSVP is needed to attend. Come on over!
Family Heritage Night is free and open to all Loma Portal families.
You do not need to host a table, bring anything or register in advance.
Just bring your family and enjoy the evening!
WANT TO SHARE YOUR FAMILY'S CULTURE?
Culture Tables are the heart of Family Heritage Night, and there is no single right way to create one.
Share something meaningful to your family—
a culture, heritage, tradition, celebration or experience that is part of your family's story.
Your table might include:
🍴 Favorite or traditional foods to sample
🥻 Clothing, textiles or other special items
💃 Music or dance
🧶 A hands-on craft or activity
🖼 Art, photographs, or flags
🪅 Stories, celebrations, or games
Something completely different!
Keep it simple or go all out. You don't need to be an expert, create a museum exhibit or represent an entire country.
You're simply sharing a piece of your family's story with our community.

Families representing the same culture or tradition can choose to be connected and create their table together.
